Matthew Kozlowski

Matthew Kozlowski was born and raised in Grande Prairie, Alberta, where he continues to live and work. After spending time working in the oilfield, Matthew worked as a mortgage broker, which introduced him to the practical side of finance and advising. That experience led him to return to school to develop a stronger technical foundation in accounting.

Matthew began his studies at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in 2017. During his studies, he found that he was particularly well suited to accounting and analytical work, and he went on to complete a Business Administration Diploma in Accounting. He joined Fulcrum Group in 2018 and continued his education while working with the firm, completing his Bachelor of Business Administration and earning his Chartered Professional Accountant designation. He is currently enrolled in the CPA In Depth Tax Program and anticipates completing the program in late August 2026.

Matthew’s practice focuses on tax advisory, corporate reorganizations, and long term planning for owner managed businesses, entrepreneurs, and families. He takes a practical and measured approach to his work, with an emphasis on clear communication and thoughtful analysis.

Within the firm, Matthew works closely with colleagues across practice areas and contributes to collaborative planning and technical discussions. He values a team based approach and consistent communication in delivering reliable outcomes.

Matthew is married and has two children. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, staying active, and being outdoors.
